BUILDING
Construction Update
Settled and Grateful!
JULY, 2009
We are completely settled into our newly refurbished building. We can’t thank you enough for all you’ve done to lift up and support PAC in our time of need. It truly is beautiful. The contractors did a great job! God is so good and we give Him all the glory for everything that has happened. It is surely the power of His right hand that has saved us!
Though I am surrounded by troubles, you will protect me from the anger of my enemies. You reach out your hand, and the power of your right hand saves me. —Psalm 138:7
Construction Update
MARCH, 2009
The rebuilding started February 1st, and the project is going amazingly fast! We are so thrilled to hear noise going on there. Right now we are in the sheet rocking and drywall phase. Much progress has already been made, but we are still a couple months out from moving into the building. God is providing for our needs through you. Thank you for your awesome support, both prayerfully and financially.
These are the wonderful people who have been working so diligently on the building so far...

The Pregnancy Alternatives Center building was burned in a fire on Wednesday, September 10, 2008. “According to police and fire investigators, this was an arson fire-deliberately set to destroy the building.” (Click here to read the Lebanon Express article.)
No one was physically hurt, but the building interior and roof is destroyed along with much of the contents (furnishings, equipment). This is what we know so far...
•The roof will be replaced within two weeks in order to save the outer walls from water (rain) damage.
•All inner walls must be replaced. An architect is working on new layouts to maximize facility use.
•A rental house nearby will serve as a temporary ministry facility once the city grants permission. Staff are pursuing new furniture that will be suitable in the rental and later in PAC’s refurbished building.
•Equipment & Furnishings...
The ultrasound machine appears to work. It will be inspected and refurbished by its manufacturer, which will, in turn, restart its warrantee.
Computers are being inspected by investigating authorities. When returned, they will be cleaned along with other equipment (monitors, keyboards, printers, etc.) and inspected for use or replacement as appropriate.
Most of the furniture was destroyed either by fire, smoke, or water. Whatever is salvageable will be.
•People...
The staff are doing well, albeit overwhelmed. Your prayers, finances, and support are appreciated. While a bit dazed, every staff and board member remains optimistic while holding onto Isaiah 61: “He gives beauty for ashes, the oil of joy for mourning, the garment of praise for the spirit of heaviness; that they may be called trees of righteousness, the planting of the Lord, that he may be glorified.”
Thank you for partnering with us!
